Eastern Sierras Summer '07 : Late in August, 2007, we took a short trip to the Eastern Sierra region of California. I had never been there and it was six days filled with discovery. Miles and miles of stunning scenery along Highway 395, and then we went to Bodie, California's famous ghost town. What a treasure. I am quite grateful that the area has been turned into a state park. I will be adding to this gallery for quite some time. I hope you will enjoy browsing. The View Outside My Old Window : Often my photo shoots consist of an hour or two of wandering about the yard finding what there is there that I have never really seen, what has changed with the new season or the light that day, or what new buds have opened. Sometimes the images are a result of trying out a new lens or testing a new technique or theory.
