Often my photo shoots consist of an hour or two of wandering about the yard finding what there is there that I have never really seen, what has changed with the new season or the light that day, or what new buds have opened. Sometimes the images are a result of trying out a new lens or testing a new technique or theory. The joy of my continuing exploration is that while the tiny yard is quite a small world, it offers a never-ending source of discovery and delight.
